Further to LifeHacker's recognition, our Freemake Video Converter was picked up as an exclusive download in the category of Video Converters by CNET editors.

CNET (also known as download.com) is a top technology resource that covers latest industry news and offers a list of selected software downloads.

CNET is an American website where you can find news, reviews, useful articles on technology and software. The service was founded in 1994 by Shelby Bonnie and Halsey Minor. CNET or download.com became a flagship product of CNET Networks. At 1st CNET originally produced content for TV and radio, but later the service started sharing information across the Web via a blog and podcasts. When the company was acquired in 2008 by CBS Interactive, the website kept the flagship product position.

CNET is widely spread throughout the world. It has several language versions and provides information based on a region. It has versions for the UK, France, Germany, Spain, Korea, China, and Australia.

The Downloads section of the website includes over 400,000 software titles available for download. There are both free and paid utilities. You can find the tools for Mac OS, Windows, and apps for various mobile platforms.

We are happy to say that our flagship tool has become a part of CNET catalog.

The editors recognize the unique functionality combined with the unprecedented ease-of-use of our Free Video Converter available here.

CNET team emphasized the cool mix of video editing and video conversion features. Unlike other tools of this kind, Freemake Video Converter can provide both features in a user-friendly manner.

Now users can read the complete review on Freemake freeware features and download it from CNET right away.  However, we should warn you about one thing.

Although the service claims it has no adware, its download wrapper contains third-party items. Thus be attentive during the installation process, read carefully all the offers and don not install apps that you do not need.

We recommend you download the apps only from the official developers' websites. First of all, they come without ads. Secondly, only on the official page, you can get the latest version with new features and bug fixes.

On the Freemake page, you can find the info about the latest release: new version number, options that were added and issues that we managed to deal with. You simply need to click the history button near the tool.

In case you still do not have any of our apps, it’s high time to install them now. Visit the Downloads section to see the available tools. Click the one you are interested in to see a full list of features and supported devices and formats. If everything is OK, click the green button with the Download title to get the installation file on your PC.

Then install the tool as you usually do and run it to change the files for your needs.
